In case you were wondering what all this social media business is all about, let me give you an example. Last night, I was hanging around on Twitter and this question appeared from master woodworker and Twitter afficionado Keith Burtis:
I thought for a minute, then responded:
And then Keith made this video.
This is what social media is. It’s real interactions, between real people. It’s about seizing the opportunities and inspirations that are laid out for you in this space. It’s collaboration, communication, and creation.
This is powerful stuff.
How has social media changed how you interact? How has it changed how you are inspired?

Muchas gracias. ?Como puedo iniciar sesion?
I like that!
That’s a great example of what social media is all about. I’ll have to admit, I often use the same approach as Keith did – if I’m stuck for ideas, I’ll ask Twitter certain questions and build a topic from there.
Now I don’t just write what I would like to read – I try and write what others want to read that I would also like. I think that’s the biggest difference that social media has made to me. That, and the connectivity with people like yourself, obviously. 😉
Thanks for the link! This is great stuff.
